Birdman1 goes Game of drones " The Next Level"
lets do some frankensteining,
lets combine 2 Ultimate parts out the quad world from today!
transparant Frame from Game of Drones
and jep ......
Startup weight from the original setup
STANDARD WEIGHT FROM EMPTY FRAME
Now the hard part, sadly the manufacturer made no special marks to point out the center or center axes. so here is my trick...
al it took was 4 toothpicks and 2 rubberbands
put the rubberband through the center opening at the top of each arm, block rubberband with toothpick and make sure that they are centered in the opening
this is the result, like that we know the exact metric Center from the setup which is crucial to each quadcopter system,
HINT: maybe it would be a idea to incorporate this in to the injection mold,
so what do we need
centermark
All axes in PLUS style and in X style to be able to place the control system as perfectly as possible!
can't take that match of effort, just scratch it in to the existing mold.
this is my Control board
This is where we need to drill, lets mark .....
and this is what we get
drill with 3mm
Now mount the motor's
Mount the Control Module
Start straping,
watch out , they are counted! ( the straps I mean)
push the SPLIT TUBE completely around the frame and fix with straps
This is the power board that we used for starters, I believe we will change this in the nearby future to a power split cable to gain back every millimeter for lipo protection
Getting a Battery inside is Hell, really , the room/place is really limited for the types that i use, and I believe I have a few...... actually i even want to use a 4 cell, so this makes it even more difficult....
I did some testing with a 3 CELL lipo , power was acceptable but not splendid.....
so we really need 4 cell....
We need to cut in to the top of the frame to be able to fit a 4 cell, so this is how we did it.
We made a small cut out from only a few millimeters on both side
Now it fits like a glove
